Refund Policy
Starter template — pending legal review. This Refund Policy is a good-faith starting draft for BizRadar and has not been reviewed by an attorney. Bracketed items like Paddle are placeholders the operator must complete before this policy is published or relied upon.

1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for BizRadar, the service operated by BizRadar. It applies to all paid BizRadar subscriptions and forms part of, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Service. BizRadar is a $49 per month subscription (or as otherwise stated at signup).
2. Your 7-day free trial
New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are never charged — there is nothing to refund. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid monthly subscription and your payment method is charged.
3. Monthly subscription & cancellation
- Billed in advance. The monthly subscription is billed in advance — each charge pays for the month of access that follows it.
- Cancel anytime. You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops all future charges — you will not be billed again after you cancel.
- Access through the period you paid for. When you cancel, your subscription does not renew. You keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and then it ends.
4. Partial months & unused time
As is standard for software subscriptions, payments already made for the current billing period — including any partial month or unused time after you cancel — are generally non-refundable. Cancelling stops future billing; it does not, by itself, refund the period you are currently in.
This general rule is subject to the fair-use guarantee below, and to any rights you have under the laws of the United States that cannot be waived.
5. Our fair-use guarantee
We want BizRadar to be worth it. If you are not satisfied, or something went wrong — a billing mistake, a service problem, or you simply did not get the value you expected — email us at support@bizradar.us within 14 days of a charge and tell us what happened.
We will review your situation in good faith and make it right, which may include a full or partial refund of that charge. We would rather sort it out fairly than have you feel stuck with a charge you are unhappy about.
6. Who processes payments
BizRadar does not charge your card directly. Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle (such as Paddle or Polar), who acts as the reseller of the subscription and handles billing, taxes, and payment-card data on our behalf. We do not store your full payment-card details.
Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, any refund is issued back through them to your original payment method, in line with this policy. Your card or bank statement may show a charge from Paddle (or a related descriptor) rather than from BizRadar.
7. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email support@bizradar.us from the email address on your subscription and include:
- The email address on your BizRadar account.
- The date and amount of the charge (and any order or invoice number from Paddle, if you have it).
- A short note on what went wrong or why you would like a refund.
We will acknowledge your request and, where a refund is approved, arrange it through Paddle.
8. Processing time
We aim to review refund requests within a few business days. Once a refund is approved and issued through Paddle, it typically takes 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer. Timing of the final settlement is controlled by Paddle and your payment provider, not by BizRadar.
9. Chargebacks
If you see a charge you do not recognize or believe is a mistake, please contact us first at support@bizradar.us before opening a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank. A quick email is almost always faster, and we can usually resolve billing issues — including refunds under the fair-use guarantee above — directly. Filing a chargeback may result in your subscription being suspended while the dispute is investigated with Paddle.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, take reasonable steps to notify subscribers. Continued use of BizRadar after an update means you accept the revised policy.
